Field Application Scientist

Summary

Genomenon is seeking a Field Application Scientist to join their dynamic team. The role involves working on the Customer Success team, partnering with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to drive success for customers. This is a fully remote position for US-based candidates with 5% travel. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in genetics, molecular biology, or related field, 2-5 years of customer service experience, and experience fostering positive relationships with customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (genetics, molecular biology, biology, or related field)
• Experience with clinical informatics or clinical NGS interpretation
• 2-5 years working directly with customers in a software or services capacity
• Experience in fostering positive relationships with customers; learning their workflows, helping troubleshoot their issues, and establishing credibility as a technical expert

Responsibilities

• Presenting to customers on Genomenon’s solution to genetic curation
• Assisting customers with day-to-day questions about our tool, Mastermind
• Utilizing and keeping up to date records in Salesforce
• Taking customer feedback to our Product and Sales team to improve their experience
• Acting as a thought leader and subject matter expert internally and externally
