You will act as the voice of the customer, providing valuable feedback to internal teams to align our product roadmap with market demands. This position is perfect for a seasoned cybersecurity professional who wants to influence both internal strategy and external perception. You will be responsible for customer engagement, thought leadership, feedback and product enhancement, industry and customer collaboration, content creation and enablement, and incident response and support.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on email security, cloud security, and incident response
- Previous experience as a cybersecurity executive or experience as a Field CISO for a cybersecurity company
- Proven ability to engage with C-level executives, both internally and externally, and deliver compelling presentations
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, global privacy regulations, and emerging threats
- The ability to understand and articulate how AI is being effectively used by threat actors and how security teams can leverage AI to defend against these attacks
- Strong ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated experience influencing product roadmaps and driving innovation
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a track record of published thought leadership
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customer CISOs and security teams, helping them operationalize their security strategies using Abnormal solutions
- Act as the executive-level point of contact for strategic accounts, building deep, trusted relationships
- Author and publish high-impact thought leadership articles, blogs, and whitepapers that position Abnormal as a leader in AI-native cybersecurity
- Represent Abnormal at trade shows, conferences, webinars, and podcasts, sharing insights on emerging cybersecurity trends and best practices
- Act as the “voice of the customer” by providing actionable feedback to R&D, product management, and leadership on product features, enhancements, and market trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address sophisticated threats, driving innovation in detection capabilities
- Lead and facilitate discussions at roundtables, technical advisory boards, and customer advisory boards, ensuring an open channel for feedback and collaboration
- Build and maintain a robust network of industry professionals to stay informed about evolving threats and technologies
- Develop and deliver tailored content for customer engagements, marketing campaigns, and enablement resources to empower sales teams
- Create best practices and playbooks to guide customers on leveraging Abnormal’s capabilities to achieve top-tier security outcomes
- Provide strategic guidance to customers during security incidents, assisting in the development of incident response plans and post-incident reviews
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degrees in Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or related fields
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC
- Experience working in SaaS or highly regulated environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare)
- Public speaking experience at major industry events
