Requirements

  • 2โ€“4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or finance administration roles
  • Proven experience managing financial transactions, commissions, or payment processes
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial statements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, commissions, and internal expenses
  • Process customer referral payments and payments to various government entities
  • Own and improve other financial operations processes
  • Support timely month-end closing activities in coordination with external bookkeepers
  • Prepare financial analyses necessary for month-end reporting
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of investor reports
  • Address ad-hoc investor reporting requests efficiently and accurately
  • Conduct regular FP&A activities to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
  • Deliver timely monthly forecasts, budget variance analyses, and insightful ad-hoc financial analyses

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a high-growth startup environment
  • Familiarity with financial software tools such as Brex, Mercury, and QuickBooks
  • Prior experience streamlining and automating manual financial processes
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Comfort with payment processing platforms (Brex, Mercury)
