Requirements

• 3 to 5 years' experience in business analytics, data analytics, data science, or a related analytical field
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Working knowledge of SQL/BigQuery and data automation
• Comfortable handling raw financial data from systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, and others
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, Tableau)
• Understanding of ETL processes, including access management, monitoring, and quality control
• Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate data insights to technical and non-technical audiences
• Solid grasp of financial and business concepts and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Proven ability to use data and critical thinking to solve business problems and generate insights

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance teams to support strategic decision-making through data analysis and reporting
• Develop and implement analytics and reporting solutions that drive efficiency and innovation within Finance
• Design and maintain visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools like Google Looker and Hex
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for Finance stakeholders
• Build and maintain scalable analytical tools that support critical reporting and management processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with platform technology companies
• Machine learning experience
• Experience interpreting business logic implemented in code (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
