Finance Associate

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting field
• 5-8 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the fintech or crypto sector
• Advanced Proficiency in managing data sets with Excel or Google sheet
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
• Support the finance team in developing budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide insights on the financial metrics
• Manage accounts receivables and payables. Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments. Handle customer billing and collections as needed
• Ensure all financial practices comply with legal requirements and company policies. Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings as necessary
• Managed banking operations to explore new product/service offerings to support our business operations, managed bank compliance queries, and oversaw the onboarding and KYC process
• Help maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure the integrity of financial records
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights
• Build and scale the finance operations to support the projected growth in our ecosystems, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and enhancing controls
