Remote Strategic Finance Associate

Summary

Join Whatnot's Finance Team as an International Strategic Finance Associate to help define the company's position by partnering cross-functionally with business units to evaluate key questions, tackle problems, and drive results. As a member of our team, you will own financial reporting and forecasting for our international businesses, act as a business partner to cross-functional teams, and shape the financial strategy for our international markets.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity / VC, consulting or strategic finance at a fast-paced tech company
• Exceptional financial modeling skills with the ability to tackle ambiguous problems and produce elegant and insightful analyses
• Experience building and maintaining complex financial models reflecting operational business dynamics
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to partner cross-functionally, influence, and communicate financial concepts to all business partners

Responsibilities

• Own financial reporting and forecasting for our international businesses
• Act as a business partner to cross-functional teams (Category Expansion, International Operations, Marketing, Engineering)
• Evaluate and support Pricing and Promotions initiatives across the international business
• Own and drive strategic profitability levers
• Shape the financial strategy for our international markets
• Take ownership of high-impact initiatives
