Finance Associate Intern

Summary

The Finance Intern will work under a finance manager, gaining hands-on experience in various financial tasks such as monthly reporting, analysis, business partnering, and audits. They may also support ad-hoc projects. Essential requirements include understanding of accounting and/or business management, excellent stakeholder management skills, self-starter attitude, analytical skills, proficiency in Excel (preferably with SQL and Netsuite experience).

Requirements

• Understanding of accounting and/ or business management
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different teams
• A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail
• Independently diagnose and identify data quality issues and work with other teams to find solutions
• Proficient in Excel, including preferably experience in SQL and accounting system (e.g. Netsuite)

Responsibilities

• Work under a finance manager in areas such as monthly financial reporting and analysis, business partnering, and statutory audits
• Support ad-hoc projects such as coordinating regional projects to drive workflow improvements/ automation, strengthen internal controls, and/or enhance efficiency
