Summary
Join HSO France as their new Finance Controller and play a key role in the company's success. This is a new, remote position based anywhere in mainland France, requiring frequent travel. You will oversee the company's finances, implement new processes, and report to management and the HSO group. The role involves managing financial processes, business planning, project control, and financial reporting. You will work closely with a small team and a virtual team supported by the HSO group. This is a full-time, permanent position in a growing company with international colleagues.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in accounting or audit
- Have a minimum of five years of proven experience in accounting, controlling, auditing, and reporting within an international company
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Be proficient in French and English
- Have strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate financial skills in the following areas: General accounting and monthly closing procedures, Budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, Project administration and control, Invoice preparation and review, Tax calculation, filing, and compliance, Audit preparation and legal filing requirements
- Be able to plan, organize, and prioritize work objectives
Responsibilities
- Oversee the company's finances, including the execution and supervision of various financial and administrative processes
- Be involved in business planning, business/project control, and financial reporting to management and the HSO group
- Manage the daily financial matters
- Implement and set up new processes, including internal projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience working in a (international) consulting environment
- Have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
