Finance Developer

Summary

Join Experian's Finance Development Program - GL Revenue, a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with financial expertise and practical experience within the Global Finance Services (GFS) teams. This program offers opportunities for personal development, including Lean/Six Sigma and Automation/Robotics training, and allows you to contribute to the expansion of our Costa Rica hub. As a participant, you will report to the GL Team Lead and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of financial operations.

Requirements

• Enrolled in Accounting or Business Administration studies in University (3rd year of college program completed)
• Advanced English level
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including basic Excel functions like SUM, AVERAGE, and VLOOKUP)
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of accounting principles or forecasting concepts
• No more than 1 year of professional experience in accounting/finance related roles. No previous job experience is required as this is an entry level position designed to help you start your career path
• Commitment in participating in the program for at least 12 months. Rotations are encouraged to gain exposure to other areas

Responsibilities

• Support basic month end close processes and journal entries using Oracle and OBIEE
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and support ad hoc requests for revenue/cost reporting and analysis
• Create basic standardization and create efficiencies across financial reporting and analysis models using different methods (RPA, quick fixes, Lean Six Sigma, Tableau, etc.)
• Support basic monthly tasks (entry level) end processes for the corresponding department
• Follow service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics
• Create desktop procedure documents for routine processes
