Finance Intern in Singapore

Summary

Crocs is offering a 6-month full-time internship starting from June/July 2024 in their Singapore Office. The successful candidate will support the team on financial planning, analysis, and budget preparation using Excel and Power BI. They will also be responsible for treasury tasks such as updating daily cash files, assessing funding requirements, preparing intercompany payment request forms, and facilitating bank KYC and account opening documentation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a bachelor’s degree or higher, in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics
• Preferably with some courses covering data modeling & analysis (SQL, Power Query/Pivot/BI)
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Able to interact effectively across different teams and functions
• Positive and progressive traits – a strong, responsible team player, highly-motivated, hands-on and willing to learn

Responsibilities

• Support the team on weekly revenue flash, rolling forecast and budget preparation
• Update and develop financial data models and dashboards using Excel and Power BI
• Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers of performance and trends
• Prepare commentary explaining financial results and key metrics
• Update daily cash file on excel; evaluate variances and identify causes
• Assess funding requirement of Trading Co; provide weekly update on monthly rolling cash flow forecast
• Prepare Intercompany Payment Request Form (ICPRF) for interco funding activities; analyse SAP AR and AP data to determine qualified payment items
• Facilitate bank Know Your Customer (KYC) and account opening documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior practical experience in management controlling and systems is a plus (SAP BPC, HFM, Cognos)
• Previous practical experience in financial planning and analysis
