Summary
Join LTK, a leading global company in creator commerce, as a Finance Intern! This temporary, 40-hour/week internship (20 hours/week in Spring, 40 hours/week in Summer) offers the chance to collaborate with business leaders and the finance team. You will support the Brand Platform team by developing financial models, generating analytical insights, and supporting sales incentive plans. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and a minimum of one year in an accredited college pursuing a BS or MBA/MS degree in a related field. Requirements
- Minimum of one year or equivalent in an accredited college pursuing a BS or MBA/MS degree, preferably in finance, accounting, business, or related field
- Excellent verbal, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills -- including the ability to communicate complex ideas to a lay audience
- Analytical, a problem solver, with strong attention to detail
- Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent teamwork skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work well with little supervision, and manage a number of projects simultaneously
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with BP leadership and finance team members to create high-quality operating and financial forecasts, including the projection of sales, revenue, and expense
- Partner with the BP Sales team to drive the execution of our sales incentive plans, supporting sales incentive payments from end-to-end (including data sourcing, calculations/analysis, and seller statements)
- Source information for sales incentive payments from key applications across the company and build accurate and scalable systems while considering efficiency and process
- Provide decision support by conducting profitability analyses by sales person and by client account for the Managed Service lines of business
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, concerns, and areas for process and/or reporting improvements
- Work closely with the Senior Manager of Finance to outline and implement areas of improvement to P&L financial and business processes
