Remote Finance Manager

Summary

Join our team as a Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager to lead the financial team in India, reporting directly to the India Head with functional reporting to the group CFO.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant professional qualification
• 7+ years’ experience working as a finance associate
• Extensive knowledge of the India accounting standards, IFRS and best practices in the fiscal procedures and applicable tax codes
• Good exposure to managing direct and indirect taxation and the expertise results in accurate financial reporting and efficient account management
• Understanding of the RBI compliance, FEMA regulations, cross border transactions, transfer pricing regulations, conducting statutory audits and Stock Exchange related compliances
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Great analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Superb organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in integrated financial management software would be an added advantage
• Need to appear for NISM – VII series

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports for statutory / tax / stock exchange or any other regulatory audits, reviews
• Create and meticulously maintain the financial statements / records, revise and update on a timely manner to manage the accruals and operating budgets
• Reconcile the bank statements and purchase orders, fixing the discrepancies, if any
• Handle payable / receivables and create short-term cash projections
• Providing assistance with employee payroll administration
• Ensure record-keeping policies as per regulatory timelines
• Review existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with the vendors, Stock Exchange finance teams, Clearing Corporation etc
• Dual reporting for this position, India Head and Group global CFO
