Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience in financial management, including reporting, budgeting, and payroll
  • Familiarity with financial tools and software (e.g., QuickBooks, Google Sheets/Excel, ADP or similar)
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal team members and external vendors

Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including a monthly recurring tracker, income statement (P&L), monthly budget, and churn tracking
  • Collaborate with financial vendors to manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate expense coding
  • Lead client invoicing, process incoming payments, and oversee accounts payable through the support of an accounts payable assistant
  • Process payroll, including calculating and managing sales team commissions
  • Coordinate with the company’s CPA to facilitate tax payments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement efficient financial processes and controls to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitor financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to support business decisions
