Requirements
- You graduated from a Tier 1 engineering or business school (or equivalent), with a specialization in finance and accounting
- You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken, as we are expanding internationally
- You have a proven 4+ years of experience in corporate finance, transaction services, private equity, audit, or accounting. Ideally, you already worked in the Tech environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, as well as annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts
- In coordination with our external accountant, execute monthly accounting of the P&L and balance sheet, as well as the annual closing and the audit of our financial statements
- Manage the companyβs tax declarations, and make sure they comply with all legal obligations with regard to VAT, CFE, payslip-related taxes, etc
- Contribute to the research of new fundings, both dilutive and non-dilutive (bank and BPI loans, CIR, innovation, international expansion, etc.); Eventually, prepare the due diligence
- Along with the Data team, build financial models, run scenario analysis, and provide data analytics to identify areas of risk and opportunity
- Make sure we have fully efficient cash management, by monitoring our revenue collection and spreading the word among the company: cash is king!
- Along with other teams, be the go-to person when it comes to negotiating contracts with suppliers, and make sure we always have the best deals ever. In general, take any required action to optimize our cost structure
- Set up clean and safe financial controls and processes, to prevent the company from fraud and mistakes
