Summary

TROOP. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team and handle vital responsibilities in accounting, financial control, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP, proficiency with NetSuite, and previous experience in startup or scale-up environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance positions within a global tech startup
• Advanced understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Excel/Google Sheets
• Robust analytical abilities coupled with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s in Finance or Business Administration is advantageous
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of thriving both independently and in team settings

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations, including month-end close processes
• Prepare accurate financial reports and analyses to guide strategic planning and business performance
• Act as a financial controller, overseeing internal controls, compliance, and financial risk management
• Maintain and refine financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and decision support
• Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment of financial operations with company objectives
• Support the financial consolidation and reporting for various legal entities within the group
• Assist with tax returns and filings, coordinating with external advisors to ensure compliance
• Help develop and monitor budgets and forecasts with the VP of Finance
• Optimize financial processes to identify potential cost savings and support strategic decisions
• Facilitate annual audits by working with external auditors, addressing inquiries efficiently
• Handle diverse administrative tasks, showcasing flexibility and a commitment to the team
