Summary

The job description is for a Financial Analyst I position at Arlo Solutions, specializing in information technology consulting services. The role involves performing managerial accounting tasks, audits, and budget analysis with a focus on DoD accounting principles. The position requires an active Public Trust clearance, US citizenship, a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, at least 2-3 years of federal government financial experience, intermediate skills with Excel, prior government contracting or DoD/Military experience, and demonstrated knowledge and experience in four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Written and Oral Communication, and Problem Solving. Working knowledge on the Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) is preferred.

Requirements

• Must have an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one
• Must have a US Citizenship
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with at least 2-3 years of federal government financial experience with at least 24 (twenty-four) hours of accounting-related courses is required
• Intermediate skills with Excel; knowledge of storing, presenting, processing, and analyzing data in Excel
• Prior government contracting or DoD/Military experience
• Ability to perform analysis of financial data and provide the government analysis with recommendations

Responsibilities

• Conducting follow-ups of external and internal audits in response to accounting and audit recommendations
• Consulting with management representatives to furnish accounting, operational, logistical, and/or financial findings and provide assistance to solve problems and clarify objectives
• Employ operational requirements prescribed by higher authority and meeting management needs involving accounting, financial management, and operational (accountability) requirements
• Complete analytical testing on financial transactions and program execution
