Associate Financial Analyst

Summary

The Associate Financial Analyst position at Abarca Health LLC involves supporting financial analysis and reporting needs, monitoring key financial metrics, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial systems. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and at least 1 year of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. They must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Excel. Communication skills are essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
• 1+ years Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Intermediate and above level experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, IF Formulas, VLookUps, XLookUps, etc.)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assists in analyzing the company’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted, and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making
• Assists in maintaining the integrity of accounting and budgeting software systems by checking for errors and inconsistencies
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Supports the FP&A analysts in fulfilling internal customer reporting requests
• Prepares monthly management reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives
