Financial Operations Analyst

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL for data extraction and transformation
• Experience working with ETL processes, data hygiene, and automating workflows — experience with AI tools is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams

Responsibilities

• Support Accounts Receivable management by extracting, validating, and analyzing detailed commission and receivables data from internal systems
• Collaborate with engineering or technical teams to develop and improve SQL queries and automate data pipelines for scaling and ETL processes
• Analyze historical data to identify discrepancies, reconcile third-party data, and maintain data hygiene practices
• Create and maintain reports on aging receivables, collection performance, and follow-up actions to optimize collections
• Implement and utilize AI/automation tools to streamline internal processes and enhance efficiency
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect outstanding receivables, respond to inquiries, and improve existing collection strategies
• Assist with administrative tasks supporting the Financial Operations team as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with accounting or accounts receivable systems is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with scaling data processes and solving ETL challenges
• Ability to develop automated solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Familiarity with financial software and reporting tools
