Summary

Join HubSpot as a Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for the Sales team, reporting to the SVP of Financial Planning & Analysis. Lead the global Sales FP&A team, supporting the Chief Sales Officer and their team. Drive initiatives in strategic business planning and budgeting, evolving GTM motions to scale with the company. This hands-on role involves strategic business advising, leading a strong team, providing financial support and thought leadership, and accelerating business growth. Partner with the Sales team to make sound business decisions, focusing on KPIs, corporate forecasting and reporting, and enabling GTM decisions for growth and long-term ROI. Help manage the annual financial planning process for Sales targets and advise Sales leadership on aligning business, operational, and financial plans with company objectives, defining ROI metrics for smarter decisions. Continue building a highly effective and scalable Sales FP&A team and contribute leadership and new ideas to the broader FP&A leadership team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree required, MBA a plus
  • Previous leadership & management experience
  • Software/SaaS/technology industry experience
  • Sound understanding of the SaaS business model and key metrics and how that flows through the financial statements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills, including with cross-functional partner organizations
  • Strong strategic planning, modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Willingness to roll-up your sleeves when work needs to get done

Responsibilities

  • Help manage the annual financial planning process as it pertains to targets for the Sales organization
  • Advise Sales leadership on aligning business, operational, and financial plans with company objectives, defining ROI metrics to drive smarter decisions
  • Continue to build a Sales FP&A team that is highly effective, resilient, and is set up to scale
  • Contribute leadership and bring new ideas to the broader FP&A leadership team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Looker/BI tools, NetSuite and Anaplan
