Financial planning and Accounting Manager

Summary

Join NewRocket, a global ServiceNow partner, as a Senior Manager FP&A, leading planning and analysis finance processes. Reporting to the CFO, you will collaborate with executives to develop financial strategies and drive analytics for business decision-making. This role involves long-term planning, forecasting, budgeting, and preparing detailed monthly reports and analysis. You will partner with department heads to develop financial plans, present strategic insights, and own processes for forecasting headcount growth. Additionally, you will improve processes, manage reporting, prepare board materials, and drive profitability through analytics. The position also includes collaboration with the internal accounting team on monthly close processes and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and analysis
• Partner with department heads to develop short and long term financial plans
• Develop and present strategic insights about the business and report to the CFO and the executive team for effective business decisions
• Own the overall processes and tools to help stakeholders across the company forecast future headcount growth based on company and team priorities, supported by data driven analysis
• Assesses ongoing process and lead improvements
• Own the budgeting, forecasting and management reporting process
• Prepare material for board of directors and investor relation activities
• Drive improved profitability through analytics and operational relationships
• Helo lead initiatives to enhance FP & A across the commercial organization
• Partner with our internal Accounting team on monthly close process, financial reporting, and preparation of GAAP financial statements
• Assist in all aspects of the company’s forecasting and budgeting process and compare detailed KPIs vs actual performance
