Financial Reporting Accountant

Summary

Join Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company (F&G) as a Financial Reporting Accountant and contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting for FGL Holdings and its subsidiaries. You will prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the Financial Reporting team in responding to internal and external auditor requests. Responsibilities

• Prepare reconciliations and analysis of general ledger accounts and other financial data
• Execute internal controls designed to mitigate identified risks within the financial reporting process
• Prepare journal entries, evaluation and supporting analysis
• Perform designated tasks within the monthly close management process
• Assist with requests of both internal and external auditors
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and/or internal control enhancements
• Assist with ad hoc requests, special projects and other duties related to financial reporting and analysis, as assigned
