Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

Requirements

• Obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Have 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment
• Demonstrate familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and strong knowledge of US GAAP standards
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
• Show meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of the Company’s financial statements for internal and external reporting, including footnote disclosures in the Form 10-Q/K
• Analyze data, including period-to-period fluctuations, to substantiate period-end balances and record month-end journal entries, particularly surrounding ASC 606 revenue-related and ASC 842 lease-related entries
• Maintain general ledger accounts and assist with monthly account reconciliations
• Contribute to SEC reporting and assist with technical accounting research and drafting memos
• Help manage internal and external audit requests for quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Document and monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Participate in ad hoc projects, reporting, and analysis as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Obtain CPA certification
• Have hands-on experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842 accounting standards
• Have experience in public accounting with a Big 4 firm
• Possess an independent, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive results
• Be adaptable and able to pivot quickly in response to changing priorities, embracing change with a positive and flexible approach
