The finance team plays a central role in the success of the business, and they are looking for a qualified or strong part-qualified accountant to join their UK team.

Requirements

• Qualified or strong part-qualified accountant with good academics and analytical ability in a plc environment
• Good knowledge of multicurrency and IFRS is highly advantageous
• Excellent organization and planning skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines whilst maintaining quality

Responsibilities

• Assist the Financial Reporting Manager with many tasks, including the preparation of monthly group results and finance board report, interim and annual external financial reporting, monthly group consolidation, management of intercompany reconciliation, recharges and settlement, being a point of contact for the external auditor, maintaining fixed asset registers for European entities, and posting European payrolls
• Assist with developing group reporting using available tools
• Challenge existing business processes and assist in developing a culture of continuous improvement. Participate in special projects as requested

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Workday Adaptive Planning and Power BI would be a distinct advantage
