Summary

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience including public accounting

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Review and maintain balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and other internal and external financial reports
• Respond to queries from other finance and company-wide managers regarding financial results, special reports, and related topics
• Manage the annual external audit, including preparation of audit workpapers, financial disclosures, and communications with the auditors on sampled items
• Contribute to the development of our new accounting system and support the continuous improvement of processes to maximize accuracy and efficiency for assigned areas of responsibility
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests, as needed
• Develop an understanding of business and strategic initiatives through frequent business conversations with functional teams
• Accountable for managing and keeping forecast models current that reflects upcoming events in order to meet monthly reporting requirements
