Financial Reporting Manager

Summary

The Financial Reporting Manager at Pavilion Payments is responsible for overseeing all financial reporting aspects of the business, providing analytical insights, managing and preparing detailed internal/external monthly financial reports, assisting in analyzing financial statements, interpreting variances, and acting as a financial advisor on various projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the technology or gaming industry
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in financial software applications
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Pavilion Payments leadership team
• Build and maintain reporting models
• Influence change and drive revenue growth
• Oversight of all financial reporting aspects of the business
• Financial statement reporting
• General close responsibilities
• Variance analysis vs budget and forecast
• Deliver monthly reporting
• Manage and prepare detailed internal/external monthly financial reporting
• Research and explain variances by working closely with various departments and management
• Assist and analyze financial statements monthly, including income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows
• Review, investigate, and correct inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
• Interpret and analyze financial information posted to general ledger accounts
• Perform quality assurance and deliver recurring reports accurately and on time
• Provide assistance to the VP/Corporate Controller and Accounting department on key accounting tasks/deliverables
• Play a key role in updating and developing new financial reporting framework within our General Ledger

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP
