Join Inspiration Fleet, the world's first EV-only Fleet Management Company, as their Director, Fleet Sales. This remote-eligible position offers a competitive salary ($150-180k + commission) and the opportunity to be a key sales professional, presenting comprehensive fleet electrification solutions. You will structure and negotiate financial solutions, identify new business opportunities, manage your sales pipeline, and collaborate with support teams. Success in this role involves exceeding sales targets, elevating the company brand, and contributing to the decarbonization of transportation. The ideal candidate possesses extensive B2B sales experience, expertise in selling disruptive technologies, and a proven track record of closing deals within a complex sales cycle.
Requirements
- Have 8+ years in B2B sales and can quickly get up to speed on complicated concepts
- Have experience selling a disruptive technology or have taken a new product to market
- Have excellent prospecting, time management, networking, relationship building skills and a proven track record of closing deals
- Can effectively manage multiple deals in various stages of the sales process
- Have industry experience within fleet electrification, transportation, or energy and can speak/sell to the challenges across the EV segment
- Have a working knowledge of CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
- Be known for your creative problem-solving skills, can craft unique solutions and present complex material effectively
- Enjoy the thrill of prospecting and are a hunter, not a farmer
- Be a strategic sales rep who can also get into the weeds with prospects via data, analysis and industry specific language
- Have experience selling based on value proposition rather than price
- Be familiar with a complex sales cycle (12-18 months) and can understand the process to get those deals over the line while building strong relationships with external stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Structure, price and negotiate complex customer centric financial leasing and charging solutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities. This is a full-cycle sales process in which you will be managing your pipeline from lead generation through close
- Tightly manage your pipeline and be able to speak to its progress by properly updating and tracking metrics via our CRM (Salesforce)
- Collaborate with management and our support teams (all of whom are your colleagues) to develop and present EV transition plans and sales presentations to targeted prospects
- Identify key decision-makers and stakeholders and develop multi-level relationships within target companies
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets
- Elevate our brand and image as our key brand ambassador by heavily networking at customer site meetings, conferences, and other key events to generate more revenue
