Requirements

  • Have experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on food or beverage product supply chains
  • Have a proven track record of sourcing and procuring new products
  • Have in-depth knowledge and experience of international customs regulations and requirements
  • Be a confident communicator, with experience working with stakeholders at all levels within an organization
  • Have a strong ability to use data to inform decision-making
  • Have a proactive approach, with a knack for offering creative solutions to operational challenges
  • Be comfortable working in an ambiguous, changing environment and adapting quickly to new projects and objectives
  • Be collaborative, positive, people-oriented, and enthusiastic in your approach
  • Have technical experience using inventory management platforms

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for procurement operations across our new food category, and supporting Vendor Management on minimising cost per unit and project teams in supporting new product development
  • Support procurement of existing inventory
  • Coordinate the import and export of goods to and from the UK and US from worldwide suppliers, and be responsible for inter-company transfers
  • Create stock management processes for new products
  • Support cross-functional projects and optimising collaboration across departments
  • Support the launch of new products
  • Be responsible for regulatory compliance for movement of goods
  • Optimise existing processes, including working closely with suppliers and Finance to maximise inventory turnover, weeks on hand and minimise shrinkage
  • Monitor and analyse key operational metrics to assess inventory performance, identify trends, and propose actionable solutions for improvement
  • Streamline workflows and ensure consistency in operations

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience with SQL and BigQuery
