Summary
Join Omnidian, a fast-growing tech-enabled service company, as a short-term Capacity Planning Consultant for 2β3 months. Elevate an existing draft of a Residential Operations plan into a standardized, reportable system. Collaborate with the Senior Capacity Planner and stakeholders to understand business workflows, map and time tasks using Salesforce and Sigma, and establish standardized reporting. Deliver clarity and visibility needed for effective scaling, with potential for long-term engagement. This role aligns closely with the US Central time zone. You will refine and standardize the existing operations plan, build tools for visibility and ongoing reporting, and ensure a seamless handoff of the forecasting and reporting system.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in operational forecasting, capacity planning, or business process analysis
- Proven ability to take existing workflows or plans and uplevel them into standardized, scalable systems
- Hands-on experience working with Salesforce, particularly in operations or support contexts
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools like Sigma or similar platforms to extract and analyze data
- Strong understanding of task-level time analysis and process mapping
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present insights clearly
Responsibilities
- Refine and Standardize Existing Ops Plan
- Review and understand the current first-draft Residential Operations workflow
- Uplevel this draft into a cohesive, scalable operations model that reflects current business realities
- Identify operational tasks, determine volumes and durations using Salesforce and Sigma, and establish clear ownership and flow
- Build Tools for Visibility & Ongoing Reporting
- Create standardized dashboards and reporting structures using Salesforce and/or Sigma
- Design templates that allow for automated or easily repeatable weekly and monthly reports
- Ensure leadership has clear insights into task volume, duration, bottlenecks, and resource needs
- Enable Handoff or Longer-Term Integration
- Deliver clear documentation and training materials to support a seamless handoff of the forecasting and reporting system
- Collaborate with leadership to assess whether additional support may be needed for future growth or coverage gaps
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous consulting or contract-based work where you owned process improvement deliverables
- Familiarity with Salesforce and experience transitioning workflows between platforms
- Exposure to operational reporting in customer service or support organizations
- Background in the renewable energy or solar industry
- Experience designing automated dashboards or executive-level reporting summaries
