FP&A Analyst

Summary

Join ConnectWise as an FP&A Analyst and contribute to the financial forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning processes. Partner with cross-functional teams to support budget preparation and assist functional leaders. Analyze company financials, explain variances, and prepare presentations for the board of directors. Automate tasks, develop innovative solutions, and analyze key financial metrics like COGS, revenue, and expenses. This role requires a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, with remote or hybrid work options available.

• Practical knowledge of applicable work area
• Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per ConnectWise requirements
• Ability to work well under pressure and confidently interact with executive leadership daily
• Excellent modeling skills and detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High degree of organization skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree required in related field or equivalent business experience
• 3+ years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Provides support cross-functionally, with a high attention to detail
• Researches, analyzes, and documents findings
• May influence others within the Finance team through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices
• Analyzes company financials monthly, researches and explains material variances
• Assists with preparation and maintenance of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and strategic plans
• Assists with preparation of monthly and quarterly presentations for the board of directors
• Automates and improves recurring tasks where feasible
• Develops new and innovative solutions to complex problems
• Analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Revenue and Expense metrics
