Summary
Join TrueML, a mission-driven financial software company, as a passionate and self-motivated FP&A Analyst. You will partner with various departments to create financial plans, forecasts, and analyze KPIs. Responsibilities include supporting budget owners, building financial models, and delivering financial reports. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 1-2 years of experience, and strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or other relevant field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a finance, consulting, or accounting role
- Understanding of financial modeling and data scrubbing/analysis in Excel
- Foundational knowledge of financial reporting, including an understanding of accounting operations and processes
- Proactive individual with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, showing sound judgement and independence required in a remote working environment
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth startup environment
- The ability to communicate clearly and concisely your findings to decision makers
- A drive to continuously learn and evolve in your role
- Being able to prioritize multiple projects with high attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple departments and business units to create annual plans, forecasts and manage KPI metrics and analysis
- Support budget owners by analyzing budget/forecast variances and identifying areas for improvement
- Build and improve upon detailed financial models, as well as ad hoc financial analysis and projects
- Support the completion and delivery of monthly financial reports to the executive leadership, board of directors, and investors
- Work side by side with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial closes
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership, tackle multiple projects, and efficiently execute deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FinTech, technology or financial services industries
- Experience using Planful or other similar planning systems
- Experience using financial systems like NetSuite, Hyperion, or Workday
- History of working remotely
- Experience directly supporting business partners
