FP&A Analyst

Summary

You will partner with various departments to create financial plans, forecasts, and analyze KPIs. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or other relevant field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a finance, consulting, or accounting role
• Understanding of financial modeling and data scrubbing/analysis in Excel
• Foundational knowledge of financial reporting, including an understanding of accounting operations and processes
• Proactive individual with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, showing sound judgement and independence required in a remote working environment
• Ability to thrive in a high-growth startup environment
• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely your findings to decision makers
• A drive to continuously learn and evolve in your role
• Being able to prioritize multiple projects with high attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple departments and business units to create annual plans, forecasts and manage KPI metrics and analysis
• Support budget owners by analyzing budget/forecast variances and identifying areas for improvement
• Build and improve upon detailed financial models, as well as ad hoc financial analysis and projects
• Support the completion and delivery of monthly financial reports to the executive leadership, board of directors, and investors
• Work side by side with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial closes
• Communicate effectively with executive leadership, tackle multiple projects, and efficiently execute deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FinTech, technology or financial services industries
• Experience using Planful or other similar planning systems
• Experience using financial systems like NetSuite, Hyperion, or Workday
• History of working remotely
• Experience directly supporting business partners
