FP&A System Implementation Manager

Join AJ Bell as an FP&A Systems Project Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract. Lead the implementation of a new FP&A system to enhance reporting and support strategic growth. Requirements

• Proven track record of finance system implementations, ideally in a Systems Accountant role
• Strong project management skills, with experience delivering complex projects
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and the ambition to challenge conventions
• Experience using systems and automation to drive efficiencies and improve controls
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across teams and external suppliers
• Ability to work pragmatically and escalate risks through appropriate channels when necessary

Responsibilities

• Lead the FP&A system implementation project from the business case through to UAT and user adoption
• Replace the business’s legacy FP&A processes with efficient, strongly controlled processes that can handle the complexities of the business and meet its future needs
• Production and agreement of project scope and optimised project plans and responsibility for leading and managing the project team to these plans
• Establish and maintain effective and trusted relationships with internal Finance and project stakeholders and external 3rd party suppliers
• Regular reporting on project status to sponsors, stakeholders and executive management
• Identification and management of project risks, issues and dependencies, plus assessment of consumer outcome risks posed by the project

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, systems migrations, and regulated environments
