Fraud Operations Specialist

As a Fraud Operations Specialist, you will handle suspicious account inquiries, collaborate with other teams to enhance fraud prevention, and support existing fraud controls. This role requires experience in fintech support handling suspected fraud and a background in KYC compliance is recommended. Requirements

• 2+ years fintech support handling suspected fraud
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• General understanding of Bitcoin, Lightning, and traditional financial products such as ACH, SEPA, FPS

Responsibilities

• Handle fraud inquiries from the customer support team
• Follow best practices for suspected fraud ticket handling
• Collaborate with other fraud operations team members using standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with the compliance and data teams on investigating fraud trends and individual account assessments
• Assess accounts flagged in automated alerting
• Handle chargeback disputes
• Facilitate fraud audits
