Summary

We are a technology company that has been assisting businesses in developing fintech solutions since 2008. The company is looking for a Freelance Java Developer with experience in Spring Boot, SQL, Kafka, and microservices for the financial sector. The candidate will contribute to new feature development, improve application quality and security, address production incidents, and collaborate with platform engineers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Java experience with Spring Boot
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Kafka
• Experienced with REST API development
• Foundational experience in containerization (Kubernetes)
• Experienced with microservices architecture
• Experience in the banking/fintech industry
• Very good spoken and written English (at least B2)
• Very good spoken and written Polish

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the development of new features and enhancements through writing and reviewing high-quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage
• Continuously improve the quality and security of applications
• Promptly and efficiently address production incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity
• Collaborate with platform engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines and streamline release processes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in large teams (SAFe SCRUM)
