Front End Engineer - SDE2

Summary

Join our team as a skilled Frontend Engineer (SDE – 2) and play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, user-friendly interfaces. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality products. You will develop new features using React JS and Chakra UI, build reusable components, write clean code, and take ownership of front-end architecture. Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs into efficient code, focusing on usability. Collaborate with product managers to understand customer needs and deliver projects on time.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong expertise in ReactJS, Typescript, Chakra UI, Jest and a deep understanding of modern front-end technologies
• Passion for user experience, and design and an understanding of front-end architecture
• Motivated to deliver value to the customer by delivering customer values
• Ability to understand and address real customer needs
• Prioritizes understanding the problem to create effective solutions, rather than jumping to conclusions
• Works iteratively, delivering small, impactful updates, and optimizing for speed on reversible decisions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
• Knowledge and passion for current trends and best practices in front-end architecture

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React JS, Chakra UI, ensuring a smooth user experience
• Build reusable components & optimize them for better maintainability and performance
• Write clear, maintainable, and testable code
• Take ownership of the front-end architecture and drive improvements in performance, scalability, and code quality
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers & translate designs and wireframes into high quality, and efficient code with a focus on and improving usability and design
• Work with product managers and internal stakeholders of the company to understand the customer requirements, break down complex problems into smaller tasks and milestones, and ensuring timely delivery of these milestones by maintaining high quality standards
