Summary

The job is for a Front End Lead Developer or Front End Architect within a DevOps team. The role involves technical ownership, creating detailed designs, providing guidance to developers, developing/configuring solutions, functional monitoring, writing unit test code scripts, testing solutions, sharing knowledge within the team, fixing broken automated regression tests, working with CI/CD engineers to define processes and best practices on CI/CD pipelines, maintaining the stability of the CI/CD pipeline and all development environments, and keeping security standards in mind while building new features.

Responsibilities

  • Takes technical ownership on their respective solution element
  • Create detailed technical designs for the respective solution
  • Document and translate user stories and requirements in technical requirements and designs
  • Provide technical guidance to developers on how to implement user story or feature
  • High-level or detailed estimations according to the product backlog priority
  • Support data architecture definition and integration mapping
  • Perform peer code reviews
  • Defined robust and secure architectural designs for Back End or Front End
  • If required also contributes on best effort basis on the build / development of user stories
  • Member of the DevOps team
  • Technical design as part of user story
  • Develop/configure solutions as per the requirements
  • Perform functional monitoring solution as per requirement in UAT
  • Write unit test code scripts
  • Test the solutions before releasing it to the UAT environments for OpCo validation
  • Review/demo the solution to the Global Product Owner and other stakeholders of the DevOps teams and create the appropriate how-to guides explaining how to work with the functionality
  • Share knowledge in the team (T-shaping) and ensure there is no individual bottleneck (e.g. when on holiday)
  • Provide feedback on Design Wireframe (where applicable)
  • Fix Automated Regression tests which are broken by new changes in the code
  • Work closely with CI/CD engineers to define the process and best practices on CI/CD pipelines
  • Responsible for the stability of the CI/CD pipeline and all development environments including UATs
  • Keep security standards in mind while building new features
