Summary

Join Zaizi as a Senior Front End Developer and contribute to high-quality software development in demanding environments. You will develop software to meet user needs, follow best-practice guidelines, and write clean, secure, and well-tested code. Mentoring junior colleagues and collaborating within an Agile team are key aspects of this role. The position is currently remote, with occasional travel to London. This role requires strong React and Redux experience, along with expertise in TypeScript, testing, CSS/SCSS, and accessibility.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience working in Agile teams
  • Demonstrable experience working on product development environments based on observation, experimentation and user research
  • Previous experience working in multi-disciplinary/DevOps teams which include product owner/manager, UX designers, UX researchers, Developers, Platform engineers, etc
  • Demonstrable experience working on continuous integration environments
  • Be confident creating presentations and demonstrating your work to Stakeholder's and the wider teams
  • Willing to take ownership of the work that they produce
  • Strong REACT and Redux experience
  • TypeScript
  • Testing experience-(Unit testing/End to End testing - e.g Jest)
  • Good experience with CSS / SCSS
  • Experience with AA Standard accessibility
  • Experience with Restful API’s
  • Experience developing for all major currently used browsers e.g Chrome, Edge etc
  • Strong performance optimisation awareness
  • Experience and confidence working with Docker
  • Experience in CI/CD Pipelines

Responsibilities

  • Develop software to meet user needs

  • Working with UK Government or public sector
  • Strong demonstrable experience and knowledge of Cloud Technologies
  • Building component libraries
  • Appreciation of security principals
  • Demonstration of scalability and reusability
  • An appreciation for UX
  • BDD experience
  • Appreciation for Databases
  • Knowledge of PWA’s
