Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join Azumo as a highly motivated JavaScript Engineer to develop web and mobile front-ends and other analytics solutions. Based in Latin America, you will collaborate with a team of engineers in SaaS, big data computing, and ML/AI. Requirements

• 5+ years experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and front-end coding skills
• 3+ years experience in React (Redux), Angular and/or Vue
• Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving

Responsibilities

• Enhance existing JavaScript code-base
• Architect app and collaborate with the team to integrate with 3rd party APIs and services
• Design the overall application framework, including component hierarchy, authentication, error handling, etc

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with backend development (Node.js / Express)
• Prior experience with building RESTful web services
• Experience writing SQL and using NoSQL databases
• Experience with automated testing (TDD, mocking, unit/functional/integration)
