Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join our team at Dispatch as a frontend engineer to contribute to the development of our early product and engineering culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficient with React and TypeScript, as well as knowledge of UI architecture and performance
• Strong track record building and shipping web applications/products at scale
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong sense of ownership, from the initial technical design and implementation all the way to monitoring for issues/opportunities after shipping out a new feature

Responsibilities

• Work with the staff engineers to spec and build the user experience
• Collaborate with engineers cross-functionally, as well as the product and design team to influence the roadmap and product development
• Design and evolve the frontend tech stack
• Help define and create backend endpoints/APIs if necessary
• Ideate on the future of Dispatch’s user experience
