Frontend Engineer, Remote - Luxembourg

Summary

The job description is for a Frontend Engineer position at SustainCERT. The role involves joining the Universal Verification & Validation team to work on a core product, a multi-standard platform for validating and verifying carbon credits. The work takes place largely remotely, with preference given to candidates based in Luxembourg. The tech stack includes React, Typescript, Material-UI, React Query, Jest, React Testing Library, Graphql, and Micro-frontends.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of professional experience as a frontend engineer
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process
• Proficient understanding of Git
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable and testable code using Typescript, React and Material-UI
• Troubleshoot and debug software applications and resolving technical issues
• Improve existing software
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Develop and integrate web services using technologies such as RESTful APIs, GraphQL
• Collaborate with the backend engineers to establish API contracts and create software solutions that our customers love

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GraphQL APIs
• Experience with React Query
• Experience with Micro-frontends
• Experience working in a monorepo workspace like Nx
