Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in frontend development with expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript, TypeScript)
  • 2+ years of experience managing and leading software engineering teams
  • A passion for building beautiful, user-friendly, and accessible web applications
  • Strong understanding of design principles and user experience best practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of front-end software engineers
  • Own the frontend function at StrongDM, setting the technical direction and ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Partner with Product and Design to define and deliver exceptional user experiences
  • Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and innovation
  • Champion frontend development best practices and standards
  • Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team
  • Provide regular feedback and guidance to team members, fostering their growth and development
  • Contribute to the development of StrongDM's engineering culture and best practices
