Summary
Join StrongDM as the Engineering Manager - Frontend and lead a team of talented frontend software engineers. You will drive the development of exceptional user experiences, collaborating closely with Product and Design. This role requires 7+ years of frontend development experience and 2+ years managing engineering teams. You will foster a culture of innovation and excellence, championing best practices and continuous improvement. Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in frontend development with expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript, TypeScript)
- 2+ years of experience managing and leading software engineering teams
- A passion for building beautiful, user-friendly, and accessible web applications
- Strong understanding of design principles and user experience best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of front-end software engineers
- Own the frontend function at StrongDM, setting the technical direction and ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Partner with Product and Design to define and deliver exceptional user experiences
- Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and innovation
- Champion frontend development best practices and standards
- Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team
- Provide regular feedback and guidance to team members, fostering their growth and development
- Contribute to the development of StrongDM's engineering culture and best practices
