Requirements

  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript in production applications in specific in the context of UI application development
  • Experience with React (v18) components development/testing
  • Experience with React state management
  • Experience with Vitest (or similar frameworks) for end-to-end testing
  • Adaptability to fully remote work environments and ability to work effectively across distributed teams (across global timezones)
  • Comfort with working on greenfield projects with a high level of ambiguity and the ability to navigate uncertainty

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the software development lifecycle of our product, including requirements refinement, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices in software engineering and ensuring alignment with team standards
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to ensure system stability, performance, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions inline with the requirements
  • Engage in code reviews to maintain code quality and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Actively participate in team ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to support collaboration, improve processes, and ensure successful delivery of team objectives
  • Keep up-to-date with software engineering trends and tools to recommend innovative technologies and methods that can improve development processes and product quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity in working with Cornerstone.js for medical imaging or similar visualisation libraries
  • Familiarity with DICOM standard / medical domain knowledge
  • Familiarity with Electron for building cross-platform desktop applications
