Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in PHP and JavaScript development, managing global enterprise websites
  • Extensive experience with WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development
  • Proficiency in Composer, React, Node.JS , npm, Sass, and modern front-end development practices
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and pages
  • Create responsive and interactive front-end experiences using React
  • Collaborate with designers, content development, and other developers to deliver high-quality web pages and applications including the ability to work from concept to project completion
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, coordinate project management for ongoing development projects, maintenance, troubleshooting, and strategic initiatives
  • Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing projects
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to keep our web solutions innovative
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to process improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., Node.js)
  • Knowledge of modern build tools and workflows (e.g., Composer, npm)
  • Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
  • A strong portfolio showcasing past work
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
