Summary

Join Anrok, a pioneer in sales tax and VAT solutions, as a Full-Stack Data Engineer. You will own the end-to-end data lifecycle, designing and building scalable data pipelines, implementing BI infrastructure using cutting-edge tools, and supporting growing analytics needs. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines, implementing monitoring and error handling, maintaining data infrastructure, developing BI tooling, defining data schemas, and performing ad-hoc analytics. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, a product-minded approach, and a deep understanding of data platforms. Requirements

  • Product‑minded engineer with 5+ years of hands‑on experience
  • Proven ability to talk to users, synthesize requirements, and translate them into technical solutions
  • Deep understanding of data platforms and how to build for scale, performance, and maintainability
  • Designs that thoughtfully balance current needs, future growth, technical debt, and operational overhead—and can clearly articulate those tradeoffs
  • A collaborative mindset: you level up peers by sharing your knowledge, mentoring, and fostering best practices

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines for ingesting Anrok’s data from multiple systems (e.g., Salesforce, internal product DBs, etc) into Snowflake and BigQuery
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and automated error‑handling to guarantee pipeline reliability and data integrity
  • Maintain and tune data infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency
  • Develop and implement BI tooling and processes—traditional and LLM‑powered
  • Define and evolve data schemas to solve growing analytics needs across the business
  • Perform ad‑hoc analytics, build dashboards, and generate reports to surface actionable insights
