Full Stack Developer

Summary

Join our team as a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications and services. You will collaborate with a talented team to build robust and user-friendly solutions using React.js, Laravel, WordPress, and other technologies. This remote position requires proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication. The work schedule is 8 am - 4 pm GMT with some flexibility. You will be responsible for managing Linux servers, developing APIs, and ensuring code quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries
• Strong understanding of Linux (Debian) administration and shell scripting
• Extensive experience with WordPress and WordPress plugin development
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and asynchronous programming
• Experience with API development and RESTful services
• Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel Framework
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js for front-end development
• Manage and maintain Linux (Debian) servers to ensure optimal performance and security
• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable JavaScript code
• Design and implement APIs for seamless integration between different systems
• Develop and maintain applications using the Laravel Framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform code reviews, and ensure coding standards and best practices are followed
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue.js or Angular
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience with database design and optimization (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of SEO best practices and web performance optimization
