A deep understanding of the entire web development process is essential. US citizenship is required.
Requirements
- Possess Application Development experience with Spring, React, or Kubernetes/EKS
- Have experience deploying Spring/React applications on Kubernetes/EKS with the focus on automated delivery and testing
- Have experience configuring, performance tuning, and monitoring/optimizing of distributed data storage stacks to include data modeling and infrastructure planning, sizing, monitoring, and management
- Possess strong scripting skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Have experience with Git, CI/CD, and other development tools
- Have proven work experience as a Front-end developer
- Possess strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery
- Have exposure to JavaScript task automation tools (NPM, Webpack, Yarn, Grunt)
- Have familiarity with data serialization formats (JSON, XML)
- Have familiarity with state containers for JavaScript apps (Redux)
- Possess understanding of RESTful API design for web services
- Possess in-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
- Possess understanding of layout aesthetics
- Be a US citizen
Responsibilities
- Develop applications using Spring, React, or Kubernetes/EKS
- Deploy Spring/React applications on Kubernetes/EKS with a focus on automated delivery and testing
- Configure, performance tune, and monitor/optimize distributed data storage stacks, including data modeling and infrastructure planning, sizing, monitoring, and management
- Utilize strong scripting skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Work with Git, CI/CD, and other development tools
- Function as a Front-end developer
- Utilize strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery
- Work with JavaScript task automation tools (NPM, Webpack, Yarn, Grunt)
- Utilize familiarity with data serialization formats (JSON, XML)
- Utilize familiarity with state containers for JavaScript apps (Redux)
- Demonstrate understanding of RESTful API design for web services
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
- Demonstrate understanding of layout aesthetics
Preferred Qualifications
- Have configuration management experience with Ansible/Terraform/Chef/Puppet
- Have experience with cloud infrastructure and networking in AWS and/or Azure
- Have experience with the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack, Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK), Kafka, Beats, and/or Splunk
- Possess Elastic Certified Engineer (ECE) certification
- Have experience in Automation Testing with Selenium, Cucumber, or Serenity
- Have experience with container services (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Have Linux administration experience
- Have experience with Red Hat OpenShift
