Requirements
- Possess 1+ years of professional experience in software development
- Have a strong foundation of programming concepts, object-oriented design and data structures
- Be proficient in at least one programming language, such as Java or JavaScript
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks quickly
- Have familiarity with cloud platforms or deployment processes (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Docker)
- Possess basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills for working in a team environment
- Be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance
- Hold a Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science or related field
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a full-lifecycle DevOps team
- Assist in estimating, designing, developing, and testing optimized features for deployment
- Enhance your skills while identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the optimization of systems that enhance partner integration, system stability, security, and data integrity
Preferred Qualifications
- Understand front-end development principles and have experience working with frameworks like React or Angular
- Be familiar with back-end development, including RESTful APIs and frameworks like Spring Boot or similar
- Have experience with version control systems like Git
- Have knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies
- Have exposure to full stack development across both front-end and back-end systems
- Have experience working with the government, specifically with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
