Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Join GoDaddy's UXCore team as a front-end focused engineer to contribute to the growth of a React component library for the design system used across all GoDaddy brands. You will create, maintain, and support this library, ensuring components are flexible, accessible, and thoroughly tested. This role involves providing support and guidance to other teams using the library and contributing to the development of supporting tooling. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of relevant experience, in-depth knowledge of front-end technologies, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant full-time software engineering experience
• In-depth knowledge of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts
• Experience developing React components or component libraries
• Experience using a distributed version control system, like GIT
• Experience testing React components, unit, and e2e
• Excellent communication skills, with a passion for teaching and assisting others in learning
• A continuous learning mindset with a strong sense of creativity

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and support the React component library that delivers the design system
• Compose flexible components that are accessible and thoroughly tested
• Provide support/guidance to all teams who consume the component library
• Help develop tooling around our systems (build/delivery/automation/etc)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript Bundling – webpack/rollup/vite
• API Design/Development experience
• Basic understanding of Docker
• Open Source Contributions/Ownership – A solid understanding of version/release management
