The salary range is $124,400-$146,300 annually for P2 hires (2-5 years of experience), determined by experience and location, plus new hire equity. The role involves building and maintaining front and back-end technologies, collaborating with other teams, and developing best practices for privacy and security.

Requirements

• 2+ years of full stack development experience in Python/JavaScript
• Working knowledge of web frameworks like Flask
• Hands-on experience with Amazon AWS technologies like SAM, ECS, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, and others
• Experience using large language models like GPT, Claude, Gemini, and others
• Track record of shipping high-quality software that users love

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain front and back-end technologies for web applications that are central to our learning experience
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and educators to find ways to continually improve our software products
• Develop and enforce best practices for privacy and security

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WebSockets using Flask-SocketIO
• Experience in TypeScript
• Startup experience
• EdTech experience in a similar role

Benefits

• The salary range for candidates is $124,400-$146,300 annually for P2 hires (2-5 years of experience) and will be determined based on the candidate’s local cost of labor (with Tier 1 labor markets like NYC & SFO at the high-end of those ranges)
