Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Join Psychology Today as a Full Stack Developer and contribute to our mission of expanding access to mental health support. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining Psychology Today’s Therapy Directory, working on the professional interface, APIs, backend services, and the platform therapists use to manage profiles and connect with clients. This position requires a strong technical background and experience with our tech stack, including GoLang and AWS serverless environments. You will collaborate in a remote-first environment, participating in an Agile process. We are seeking a candidate who is a strong cultural fit and can demonstrate their skills through an in-person interview and/or code challenge. Requirements

• +2 years GOLANG
• +3 years exp with modular frontend services in an AWS serverless environment
• Strong technical background and solid experience with our stack
• Comfortable working with event driven systems at scale
• An in person interview/references and or a real-time code challenge will be required

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Psychology Today’s Therapy Directory
• Work on the professional interface, APIs, and backend services
• Work on the platform therapists use to manage profiles and connect with clients
• Collaborate in a distributed, remote-first environment
• Participate in our Agile process: two-week sprints, daily standups, sprint planning, demos, and bi-weekly retrospectives
