Summary

Valora Inc. is hiring a full-stack engineer to contribute across the stack in making blockchain and cryptocurrency systems accessible to anyone with a mobile device. The engineering team works on Valora, a mobile financial application built on top of the Celo blockchain network using React Native and TypeScript. The role involves designing and implementing features end-to-end, participating in data-informed discussions, working with Product and Marketing partners, and growing engineering skills. The required experience includes 4+ years as a software engineer, experience implementing production-level applications, excitement around learning new skills, and the ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features end-to-end across our technology stack
• Participate in data-informed discussions to prioritize what problems we solve next and how we solve them
• Work with Product and Marketing partners to launch end-user features you help build
• Grow your engineering skills and help others on the team do the same by participating in design reviews and code reviews, and learning about technical developments in the mobile and blockchain spaces

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus: experience with controlled experimentation (e.g., AB split tests)

Benefits

Salary Range: In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is between $135,000 and $185,000 in San Francisco
